Last week we had what’s called an “offsite”, where our 25-person team left work at 1:30 for the day to head down to Lucky Strike Bowling, where they had a VIP lounge with alcohol, food, and a private four-lane alley. The facility also features a nice arcade.

On Saturday our ward hosted the neighboring YSA ward for the annual Thanksgiving Dinner. We were so fortunate to be blessed with an Activities Committee co-chair whose mother is apparently a professional decorator.

 

On Monday I was assigned to teach the lesson at FHE, and the activity was making pies. Hmm… pie… π… irrational numbers… the density of rationals as compared to irrationals… cardinality of infinite sets… how intuition fails us when considering infinity, as showcased by the cardinality of integers as compared to odd integers… I certainly tried my best to work all that into a Gospel-centered lesson.

 

As for now, just waiting for the hours to pass until I board my flight to SLC; can’t wait!
